1. Conditions precedent
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "Terms") regulate the purchase of tickets for the Mutua Madrid Open 2026 tennis tournament (hereinafter the "Tournament"), organized by Madrid Trophy Promotion S.L.U. (hereinafter "MTP"), with registered office at Camino de Perales s/n, 28041 Madrid, and VAT number B62702204.
By purchasing a ticket, the holder (hereinafter the "Holder") accepts these Terms in full. MTP reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with any modifications being published on the official Website.
The Tournament will take place from April 20 to May 3, 2026, at the Caja Mágica facilities, located at Camino de Perales s/n, 28041 Madrid, Spain.
2. Stadiums, sessions & types of ticket
2.1 Stadiums
The Caja Mágica complex comprises three main stadiums:
- Manolo Santana Stadium: the main court with an approximate capacity of 9,678 spectators.
- Stadium 2 (Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario): the secondary court with an approximate capacity of 3,383 spectators.
- Stadium 3: with an approximate capacity of 2,251 spectators.
2.2 Sessions
Matches are organized into Day Sessions and Night Sessions. Each session requires a separate ticket. A Day Session ticket does not grant access to the Night Session and vice versa, unless otherwise expressly stated on the ticket.
2.3 Types of ticket
- Manolo Santana Stadium ticket: grants access to a numbered seat in the Manolo Santana Stadium, plus access to the outer courts (Stadiums 2 and 3 on a first-come, first-served basis, and the practice courts).
- Stadium 2 ticket: grants access to a numbered seat in Stadium 2, plus access to Stadium 3 on a first-come, first-served basis and the practice courts. Does NOT include access to the Manolo Santana Stadium.
- Ground Pass: grants access to the outer courts (Stadiums 2 and 3 on a first-come, first-served basis) and the practice courts. Does NOT include access to the Manolo Santana Stadium.
3. Sales channels
Tickets may be purchased through the following channels:
- Official Website: mutuamadridopen.com/en/tickets
- Official ticketing partner: through the authorized third-party ticketing platform designated by MTP.
- Box office: subject to availability, tickets may be purchased at the Caja Mágica box office during the Tournament.
MTP does not authorize the resale of tickets through any unauthorized channels. Tickets purchased from unauthorized sources may be void and will not grant access to the venue.
4. Printing tickets
Tickets will be available in electronic format (e-ticket) via the email address provided at the time of purchase. Holders must present their ticket (on a mobile device or printed on paper) at the access points to gain entry to the venue.
Each ticket contains a unique QR code or barcode. Only the first presentation of the ticket will grant access. MTP accepts no responsibility for duplicated, counterfeited, or unauthorized tickets.
5. Exchanges and returns
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
In accordance with applicable legislation, the right of withdrawal provided for in distance and off-premises contracts does not apply to contracts for leisure activities when the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance (Article 103(l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
MTP will only consider refunds in exceptional circumstances, specifically in the event of cancellation of the entire Tournament by MTP. In such cases, the refund will be limited to the face value of the ticket, excluding any service charges.
6. Changes to the schedule
MTP reserves the right to modify the order of play, match schedule, session times, and court assignments at any time and without prior notice, including but not limited to changes due to weather conditions, player withdrawals, or other unforeseen circumstances.
No refunds or exchanges will be granted due to changes in the schedule, player participation, or the order of play. MTP will make reasonable efforts to communicate any significant changes through its official channels.
7. Service charges
A service charge of €2.00 per ticket will be applied to all ticket purchases. This charge covers administrative and processing costs and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
8. Access to the premises
Access to the Caja Mágica facilities is subject to the following conditions:
- The Holder must present a valid ticket at the access control points.
- MTP reserves the right to require the Holder to present a valid form of identification matching the name on the ticket.
- Holders may be subject to security checks, including bag searches and metal detector screening.
- Children under 3 years of age may enter free of charge, provided they do not occupy a seat and are accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
9. Admission conditions
Once the Holder exits the venue, re-entry is not permitted. The ticket is valid for a single entry only.
MTP reserves the right to deny admission or eject from the premises any person who:
- Presents an invalid, counterfeit, or duplicated ticket.
- Behaves in a disorderly or threatening manner.
- Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Carries prohibited items (see Section 10 below).
- Fails to comply with these Terms or the venue regulations.
10. Prohibited items and conduct
The following items are prohibited within the venue premises:
- Weapons, sharp objects, or any item that may be used to cause harm.
- Professional cameras with detachable lenses longer than 30 cm.
- Tripods, selfie sticks, and monopods.
- Laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices for recording or broadcasting purposes (personal use devices are permitted).
- Glass bottles and containers.
- Outside food and beverages.
- Laser pointers.
- Drones or any unmanned aerial vehicles.
- Flags, banners, or signs larger than 1m x 1m or with commercial content.
- Any item displaying racist, xenophobic, or offensive content.
11. Audiovisual rights
All audiovisual rights relating to the Tournament belong exclusively to MTP and its licensees. The Holder is prohibited from recording, transmitting, or distributing any images, video, or audio from the Tournament for commercial or public purposes.
Personal, non-commercial photography and short video clips (under 30 seconds) are permitted for personal use and sharing on personal social media accounts, provided they do not interfere with play or other spectators.
By attending the Tournament, the Holder consents to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by MTP or its authorized partners for promotional, security, or broadcasting purposes.
12. Sustainability commitment
The Mutua Madrid Open is committed to environmental sustainability. Holders are encouraged to:
- Use public transport to access the venue (Metro line 3, San Fermín–Orcasur station).
- Use the recycling facilities available throughout the premises.
- Carry a reusable water bottle (water fountains are available).
- Respect the natural environment of the Caja Mágica complex.
13. Limitation of liability
MTP shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the Holder within the venue premises, except where such loss, damage, or injury is caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of MTP.
MTP shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, acts of terrorism, or severe weather conditions.
14. Data protection
Personal data provided by the Holder during the ticket purchase process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain, unless the Holder, as a consumer, is entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of domicile.
